This list includes points of the network that have sent spam to our users or our spamtraps, or that exhibit an unacceptable behavior according to Cantv.net's policies, publicly. This listing provides the corresponding operator with a chance to solve its problem, before making it worse by affecting more of our users.
rot - Confirmed sources of viruses, worms or other unfriendly content
When Cantv.net detects malicious content being sent in our direction, the originating machines are included in this list to avoid the escalation of the incident.
hog - IP space with suspicious Cantv.net's resource consumption
This list includes servers and network devices that have incurred in uses of our messaging platform that somehow, exceed the operational parameters that we consider normal.
rhsbl - Domain names that support entries in other lists operated by Cantv.net
In some cases, entries in our other lists are complemented with entries in this list, to improve the effectiveness of our defenses.
All of these lists are private. Cantv.net does not publish its contents beyond the lookup service that we offer, for ease of the operators that wish to review their case. The fact that a server or domain is listed, does not reflect in any way a specific opinion of Cantv.net about the listed entity. This simply shows the fact that our acceptable use policies were violated from that point in the network.
Additionally, Cantv.net uses public lists for mail filtering. The information regarding such lists, appears in the web page that is returned in the error message that our platform returns in those cases. Please refer to such pages for more information and, in particular, to request the delisting of such lists.
